Wesley A. Whittaker
Wesley A. Whittaker left a twenty-eight year career as a designer, field engineer and project manager in the electrical engineering and construction field to go to work as the Business Development and Management Consultant for INNERmedia Coaching and Consulting. Wes holds a BA in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and has taken several continuing education courses in construction cost estimating, business development and project management.
He has written business and marketing plans for several startup firms around the country and focuses on helping entrepreneurs and small business owners define their vision, design their plans and deliver on their potential. As CMO of Henry & Munroe LLC, Wesley helps package and present promising projects to obtain funding for startups and development. He also serves as Sr. VP and Managing Director for a firm involved in developing a paradigm-shifting mass transit system based in Atlanta.
Wesley is committed to stimulating conversation about the role of Flint, Michigan as the nexus of an economic resurgence in Advanced Manufacturing, Alternative Energy, Bio-Medical Research and Development and Information Technology. He believes that Flint has the resources to re-invent itself as a global center for trade if we can reorient our perspective and focus on the opportunities that we have and the potential of the future.
Wesley has served as an officer in the Grand Blanc Area Toastmasters club and Vice-Chairman of ConnecTech Greater Flint. He lives in Grand Blanc with his wife, Robin Riddell. They have two sons currently attending Michigan universities.
